Note: The adapter PP0004A is required to use the probe with the Autoprobe I interface.
The Hi-Z + Probe PP0002A is a passive high voltage probe (HV Probe) with an analog bandwidth of 800 MHz and a capacitive load of less than 2 pF, while delivering an unprecedented input voltage of 1200 Vrms . It offers all the advantages of a passive probe head with the performance that is normally known from an active probe head. The AutoProbe I interface offers offset and auto configuration of probe type and damping setting.
The PP0002A is intended for use on InfiniiVision and Infiniium oscilloscopes with the AutoProbe I interface using the PP0004A adapter .
The probes PP0001A / 2A / 3A are a new generation of Hi-Z + probes in which the probe can be seen as a combination of probe and probe adapter (PP0004A). This combination does not have a fixed damping ratio, but rather several available damping ratios per given V / div setting in order to enable a very large dynamic range and a flat frequency response.
