The thermal imaging cameras included in the FLIR A400/A500/A700 Science Kits deliver extremely accurate thermal imaging data. The cameras offer an IR resolution of 320 × 240 (A400), 464 x 348 (A500) or 640 × 480 (A700) and are suitable for applications such as component inspection, product development and fault analysis. They can also be used for a wide range of other research applications, including product quality control and the monitoring of critical infrastructure.
The automation camera can be configured for complex remote monitoring, alarm and analysis applications and can be integrated into and operated via HMI/SCADA systems. Regardless of how you intend to use the camera, the interaction between its various components delivers convincing performance in a wide range of scenarios.
The motorized focus control and connectivity of the thermal imaging camera provide an unprecedented level of convenience. The standard 24-degree lens offers a very wide field of view, providing significant benefits for research and development applications. In addition, the integrated macro mode reduces the camera’s minimum focus distance to provide improved spatial resolution – 101 µm per pixel with the A400, 71 µm per pixel with the A500 and 50 µm per pixel with the A700. With the additional 2x macro lens included in the Professional Kit, resolutions as fine as 24 µm can even be achieved.
