The NI ‑ 9149 is a rugged Ethernet chassis that can be used to connect I / O modules of the C series to any standard Ethernet network. The chassis can be programmed in scan mode for rapid expansion of the real-time system or using the FPGA to implement inline processing, acquisition and output, and control at high speed. The NI ‑ 9149 can add powerful I / O to any PC-based application, or expand an application with a CompactRIO, PXI, or industrial controller.
