780879-02 | NI 9871E, Serial RS422/RS485 module with 4 connections, board only, with 4 10P10C-DE9 cables

The sbRIO-9871 module can be used to add RS-485 and RS-422 serial ports to CompactRIO systems. The serial ports can be accessed directly from the FPGA, providing flexibility when communicating with serial devices. The module has individual buffers on each port, saving space on the FPGA and allowing for easier programming.sbRIO-9870 supports default settings for start bit, stop bit and handshaking. It utilizes an external power source for maximum compatibility and reliability. Modules without housing are designed for OEM applications.
