The PXI ‑ 2548 is a universal switch module of the SPDT type (single-pole changeover switch). The module provides more flexibility in switching networks as well as maintaining uniform signal paths over multiple channels when multiplexers with a high number of channels are created. The module also offers first-class insertion loss, excellent ripple factor (VSWR), and signal isolation parameters to prevent signal degradation. The integrated function for counting the switching operations can be used to make predictions about the service life of relays and to avoid unexpected system failures.
