Description

D720A | KE7200 Network Tester with Memory Function for Commissioning Tests, Troubleshooting, Documentation

The KE7200 network tester with memory function is the ideal helper for commissioning tests, troubleshooting and documentation in data and telecommunications networks - with an outstanding price/performance ratio.

Versatile functions, the large graphical display and intuitive operation allow the user to work efficiently. Long battery life and the robust housing are the perfect prerequisites for daily use.

The KE7200 checks the wires and wire pairs of the cable routes for continuity, interruption, short circuit, swapping and overdrawing (split pair). In the event of a short circuit or open circuit, the KE7200 even uses the precise TDR method to determine the distance to the fault location. With the user-configurable internal cable database, unknown cable and wiring diagrams are a thing of the past. Up to 32 individual remote units can be managed by the KE7200. The use of multiple remote units saves time and walking distances, thereby reducing the measurement time at the customer's site.

The device checks connections for the availability of Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ as well as LTPoE) and determines the available power via a load test.

Active network tests, such as the detection of the link speed in 10 / 100 / 1000 Mbit networks, the listing of existing network subscribers including the name, IP and MAC address of the network subscriber, and the network speed in 10 / 100 / 1000 Mbit networks. Name, IP and MAC address of the subscriber and the configurable ping stress test with detailed statistics provide information about the network and any faulty components.

The link LED on the switch is activated using the port finder function to assign active data ports on the switch at the remote end of the line. The integrated tone transmitter mode enables clear line assignment for unconnected connections using the optional Probe P310 search signal receiver.

The optional software for detecting branches in the in-house telecommunications cabling, which can massively impair the operation of xDSL services due to signal reflection, is ideal for tests in the telecommunications network. The KE7200 determines the presence of a branch in the connected 2-wire cable and the distance to the branch at the same time.

  • Test device for quick troubleshooting and functional testing of network and data cables as well as for analyzing active Ethernet networks.
  • Comprehensive measurement functions such as: PoE load test according to IEEE 802.3 af/at/bt, identification of active connections, network scan with ping stress test, precise cable fault localization from one wire pair and TDR cable length measurement up to 200 m.
  • Integrated memory and "KE7200 Ethernet Manager" software for convenient documentation.
  • Configurable cable database and management of up to 32 pcs. KE7010 remote units for efficient measurement processes.
