The insulation measuring devices are suitable for the following tasks:

  • Check the resistance of earthing, protective and equipotential bonding conductors
  • Checking of measuring objects for absence of voltage
  • Testing the conductivity of floor coverings in relation to electrostatic charges (when using shielded test leads) - EN 1081
  • With the so-called 1 mA test acc. DIN VDE 0845 / EN 61645 can also be used to test the response voltage of overvoltage components (varistors, Zener diodes, etc.) of requirement categories B and C / SPD types 2 and 3) on site and evaluate them according to the manufacturer's data.
