The NI (National Instruments) myRIO‑1900 with reconfigurable I/O is used to implement various design concepts in the classroom. The device is equipped with I/O in the form of MXP and MSP connectors on both sides and has ten analog inputs, six analog outputs, 40 digital I/O lines, WLAN, LEDs, a button, an integrated accelerometer, a Xilinx ‑FPGA and a dual‑core Cortex‑A9 processor from ARM. The myRIO‑1900 can be programmed with LabVIEW or C. The WLAN functionality enables quick and easy integration into decentralized embedded applications.
