781720-01 | NI PXIe-1086, 3U redundant PXI Express chassis, 18 slots

The PXIe-1086 includes redundant, hot-swappable AC power supplies. It also has redundant fans accessible from the front, which can also be exchanged during operation. These features improve the mean downtime (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR) of the PXI system, thereby maximizing availability. The PXIe ‑ 1086 is used to monitor the current and voltage supply, air inflow temperature as well as the fan status and speed, with possible error messages being output via status LEDs on the chassis. The chassis is particularly suitable for measurement, control, regulation and testing applications with high demands on the system uptime.
