780684-01 | NI PCI-8513, CAN interface card (software configurable/flexible data rate, 1 connection)

The PCI-8513 module is a CAN interface card (Controller Area Network) with flexible data rate (FD) for application development with the NI-XNET driver. Software-selectable NI-XNET CAN interfaces with integrated transceivers for high-speed/FD, low-speed/fault-tolerant and single-wire CAN as well as any external transceivers offer maximum flexibility in the development of CAN applications. The PCI-8513 card is particularly suitable for applications where hundreds of CAN frames and signals need to be manipulated in real time and at high speeds, such as hardware-in-the-loop simulations, rapid control prototyping, automation control and many more. Using the NI-XNET DMA engine, the integrated processor can transfer CAN frames and signals between interfaces and user programs without CPU interrupts.
