GI2K-SI series - AC pulse current sources (pulse current generators)

The GI2K-SI series from Zenone Elettronica are static AC constant current sources for high-precision testing and calibration tasks. The devices supply a very stable alternating current over a wide load spectrum and support both sinusoidal and freely definable (arbitrary) output forms. Depending on the version, up to three current ranges (scales) with manual or automatic switching are available. Thanks to the sequencer timer, synchronization and various interfaces, the systems are equally suitable for laboratory setups and automated test lines.

General features and possible applications

  • Switchgear and protection technology: Thermal and magnetic tests on switches, fuses, relays, trip units including precise trip time measurement.
  • Heating and contact tests: Thermal tests on contacts, cables, connection points and transitions.
  • Inductors & transformers: Tests on transformers, coils, cores and winding goods.
  • Measuring equipment: Testing and calibration of measuring devices and instrument transformers.
