Technical Data

Description

XJA-0040 | Adapter for AMD-Xilinx Programming and Debugging Interfaces

The XJTAG XJA-0040 is a compact connector adapter for connecting a compatible XJLink controller to hardware equipped with the standardized 14-pin AMD-Xilinx JTAG connector.

The adapter connects directly to an XJLink system via its 20-pin connector with a 0.1-inch pitch. On the other side, it provides the signals via a 14-pin connector with a 2-mm pitch in the standard AMD Xilinx pinout.

As a result, the XJA-0040 enables straightforward and reliable interfacing between XJTAG test hardware and AMD-Xilinx-compatible development or target systems. The adapter is particularly suitable for boundary-scan, programming, debugging, and test applications that use a 14-pin Xilinx connector.

Typical Applications:
  • Boundary-scan testing of electronic assemblies
  • Programming of AMD-Xilinx devices
  • Development, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Production and functional testing with XJTAG systems

Product features:

  • Part number: XJA-0040
  • Adapter for AMD-Xilinx-compatible JTAG connectors
  • 20-pin connector with 0.1 inches for connection to an XJLink
  • 14-pin output connector with 2-mm pitch
  • Standard AMD-Xilinx pinout
