XJA-0030 | Signal Integrity Splitter Board, Angled Version

The XJTAG XJA-0030 is an angled splitter and signal integrity board designed to reliably connect an XJLink controller to the unit under test (UUT).

The 20-pin connector with a 0.1-inch pitch connects directly to a compatible XJLink system. On the UUT side, the board provides two 20-pin connectors with a 0.1-inch pitch, to which appropriate ribbon cables can be connected.

To improve signal integrity, the XJA-0030 connects the ground contacts to the even-numbered pins on the UUT side. As a result, there is a ground connection between each pair of signal lines in the ribbon cable. This can reduce interference and crosstalk and supports reliable signal transmission during testing.

The elbow design enables space-saving, angled cable routing. It is particularly suitable for test setups where straight connectors are difficult to access due to limited space or the mechanical layout.

Typical applications:

The XJA-0030 is suitable for development, production, and service environments where JTAG or boundary-scan connections must be reliably split between two cables. The additional ground path makes the board particularly suitable for applications with increased requirements for low-interference signal transmission.
