CM78-PV | Current clamp for solar systems, 1500 VDC, 1000 A AC/DC

The FLIR CM78-PV has been specially developed for electrical inspections in commercial and industrial environments and is ideal for use on photovoltaic systems. It supports DC voltage measurements up to 1,500 V via test leads and current measurements up to 1,000 A, both DC and AC, via the integrated clamping jaw.

The measuring device is equipped with numerous professional functions, including inrush current detection, support for frequency converters, true RMS (true RMS measurement) and a low-impedance mode, ideal for demanding test and measurement tasks. An integrated, non-contact infrared thermometer enables quick fault diagnosis on control panels, cables or motors, while contact-based measurements or the data logger function for recording intermittent faults provide additional precision.

Thanks to Bluetooth-enabled FLIR Meterlink technology, all measurement data can be conveniently transferred to the Meterlink app on your mobile device. Perfect for immediately documenting, evaluating and sharing results directly from the field.
