With the installation of the HO118 binning interface option in the HM8118, the LCR measuring bridge can take over the control of a handler for the physical sorting of components according to the measurement result and user-defined limits.
Eight outputs are provided for the sorting HW as well as four output or input control lines (ALARM, INDEX, EOM or TRIG). The binning interface is used in the production environment and in the laboratory for component selection according to tolerance groups.
The binning function is subject to an automatic sequence that simplifies sorting and eliminates the need for manual comparison of parameters. Up to 9 binning configurations can be stored using the store/recall function. The binning configuration can also be carried out via the remote control.
