This probe / measuring line can be used very effectively in connection with multimeters to check the circuit of SMT components. It adapts the common 4 mm banana plugs to a spring tip that is only 0.5 mm thick. The enclosed IC contacting aids facilitate measurement on ICs and densely populated circuit boards. The gold-plated contacts ensure low contact resistance.
