The NI PXIe-4311 is a 1-slot PXI Express module for high-density, high-dynamic-range analog measurements with 32 simultaneous sampling channels at up to 4 MS/s per channel. With flexible input voltage ranges of ±150 mV, 0-6 V and 0-25 V, a bandwidth of 800 kHz and a resolution-dependent accuracy of 16-22 bits, it accurately captures fast transients - ideal over many supply rails in parallel.
The 0-25 V common mode range simplifies differential shunt measurements on power rails. The module supports NI-DAQmx (incl. synchronization), FlexLogger and on-board virtual power calculations for directly available key performance indicators. Cables and terminal blocks are compatible with PXIe 4309 accessories, which speeds up system integration. In addition, the device can be pre-integrated into software in NI MAX as a simulated device.
In conjunction with the PXI backplane, you benefit from tight time/trigger synchronization across multiple instruments and a scalable channel count in a compact chassis - perfect for high channel/data rate parallel testing.
Applications
- Power and energy validation of CPUs, GPUs, SoCs, FPGAs, MCUs and complete systems (PCBAs, closed devices) with simultaneous acquisition of many rails.
- Capture fast transients, ripples and dips on supplies up to the MHz range.
- Shunt-based current and power calculation ("Virtual Power") in real time to speed up analysis.
- Fast logging and debugging without programming with FlexLogger; seamless transfer to automated test sequences (e.g. TestStand/LabVIEW).
