Description

788670-01 | Ettus USRP X440 (8 TX and 8 RX, 1.6 GHz BW, 30 MHz TO 4 GHz SDR, GPSDO)

The Ettus USRP X440 is a high-performance software-defined radio (SDR) for demanding applications in research, prototyping and wireless communication. With up to eight independent transmit and receive channels, a real-time bandwidth of up to 1.6 GHz per channel and a frequency range of 30 MHz to 4 GHz, the X440 enables extremely flexible, broadband signal processing for 5G NR, radar, satellite and spectrum analysis applications.

The device combines a powerful Xilinx RFSoC ZU28DR-FPGA with a Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A53 processor and extensive DDR4 memory architecture for fast signal processing, data acquisition and playback. Thanks to integrated GPS discipline and OCXO references as well as versatile synchronization and digital interfaces (e.g. QSFP28 100 GbE, USB-C, HDMI-GPIO), the X440 is ideally suited for distributed MIMO setups and precise phase and time synchronization.

With its compact ½ rack form factor, robust design and an operating temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C, the USRP X440 is optimized for both laboratory and field environments and meets relevant IEC standards for shock and vibration loads.
