The sbRIO ‑ 9881 is a high-speed CANopen interface for developing CANopen applications in LabVIEW on the CompactRIO hardware. CANopen is the application layer above the CAN bit transmission layer, which is often used in industrial automation applications. The sbRIO ‑ 9881 can send and receive PDOs (Process Data Objects) and SDOs (Service Data Objects) according to CiA ‑ DS 301. The sbRIO ‑ 9881 is only compatible with CompactRIO systems. Modules without a housing are designed for OEM applications.
