The PXIe ‑ 8821 is an embedded controller with an Intel Core i3 processor for PXI systems. The controller can be used to create a compact, transportable PC-based platform for industrial control, regulation and data acquisition as well as for measurement and testing applications. The PXIe ‑ 8821 has a 10/100 / 1000BASE ‑ TX (Gigabit) Ethernet port, two Hi ‑ Speed USB and two USB 3.0 ports as well as an integrated hard disk, a serial interface and additional I / O for peripherals.
