The Spicy ONE QUAD from NetPeppers is a wireless Tier 1 attenuation certifier for the standards-compliant testing and acceptance of single-mode and multimode fiber-optic networks. By supporting all four relevant measurement wavelengths (850, 1300, 1310, and 1550 nm), the system combines both fiber types into a single measuring device. Control is handled entirely via the NP-Connect app on a smartphone or tablet, enabling particularly intuitive operation and convenient project management.
The Spicy ONE QUAD is ideal for fiber optic installers, system integrators, and service technicians who want to certify both multimode and single-mode infrastructures in data centers, campus and building networks, or backbone connections. The device measures insertion loss, fiber length, time delay, and polarity, and performs automatic TIER-1 acceptance tests in accordance with ISO/IEC, DIN/EN, TIA, and IEEE standards. Up to two fibers can be tested simultaneously in AutoTest mode, allowing measurements to be performed particularly quickly and efficiently.
Thanks to interchangeable adapters, the Spicy ONE QUAD supports all common connector types such as LC, SC, FC, and ST. The Bluetooth connection to the NP-Connect app enables real-time transmission of all measurement data, automatic device configurations, and “over-the-air” firmware updates. Measurement results can be saved directly to cloud services, managed by project, and exported as professional PDF reports or shared with customers and project stakeholders.
