The FiberInspector Ultra is the complete solution for fiber optic inspection. The inspection camera supports both single fibers and MPO and offers automated or rapid manual inspection with the Versiv Cabling Certification System, LinkWare, or your smartphone. The Live View function provides an instant view of the fiber end face. The FiberInspector Ultra is available in two versions: The FI-3000 FiberInspector Ultra camera works with your smart mobile device, and the FI2-7300-INT FiberInspector Ultra Kit includes the FI-3000 camera and a Versiv 2 mainframe.
The Versiv platform from Fluke Networks combines copper and fiber optic measurements in a single device via a simple, intuitive user interface, all while utilizing LinkWare documentation software. Faults in fiber optic cabling are primarily caused by contaminated end faces. Dirt and contaminants can cause insertion loss and reflections that impede optical transmission and disrupt transceiver operation. With ever-increasing data rates, end face inspection is therefore of particular importance. Contaminants can be eliminated in time before the fibers are inserted into a connector or device. The FiberInspector Ultra offers comprehensive features for testing MPO trunks, cassettes, cable arrays, or individual fibers. Its multi-camera system provides a live view of the entire end face on the Versiv or smartphone, as well as a PASS/FAIL result for each fiber within seconds. LinkWare Reporting Software allows you to save complete project reports, including copper and fiber attenuation, OTDR, and end-face images. The results can also be saved to and shared on a mobile phone.
