The Fluke Wire Detector 2062 is designed for troubleshooting and locating wires, cords and circuit breakers in walls, ceilings and floors in residential, commercial and industrial environments. The cable locator has several operating modes for the transmitter signal and receiver modes in order to be able to find different types of cables precisely and quickly.

Product features:

  • High security according to measurement category CAT IV 600 V for industrial environments
  • Three operating modes for the transmitter signal
    • "High signal" operating mode for normal circuits
    • Low signal mode for precise line detection in difficult areas
    • Loop mode (loop) for closed circuits in the de-energized state
  • Four receiver modes for line search
    • In the "Smart Sensor" operating mode, cables can be detected more quickly from a greater distance
    • In the "Peak Sensor" mode, cables or faults hidden in walls, floors or ceilings can be precisely detected
    • In the "Breaker Identification" operating mode, switches can be found quickly and easily
    • Non-contact voltage detection mode passively traces wires without the transmitter to determine if a conductor is live
  • The Smart Sensor technology shows the orientation of live conductors on a high-resolution TFT-LC color screen with a diagonal of 8.9 cm
  • Embedded help screens and user interface allow for easy setup and operation
