The Elettrotest EPS series is a family of programmable three-phase AC power supplies designed to generate high-purity sinusoidal output signals with excellent stability and accuracy. The devices allow for precise voltage and frequency adjustment and are ideal for demanding testing and power supply applications in industrial environments. Thanks to low distortion, high stability, and comprehensive protection features, the Elettrotest EPS series offers reliable performance for professional applications.
Typical applications for the Elettrotest EPS series include industrial applications, testing and burn-in processes for export products, motor testing, safety testing, and quality assurance. Its flexible programmability and support for various communication protocols make the series particularly suitable for automated test environments.
The EPS 10K model presented here is the entry-level solution within the Elettrotest EPS series and offers a continuous output of 10 kVA at 400 VLL. Compared to the more powerful models, it features lower output currents (11 A continuous, 16.5 A inrush), making it particularly suitable for smaller test loads. It still offers all the core features of the series, including precise voltage regulation, programmable frequency, and comprehensive protection mechanisms. Product features of the series: Three-phase programmable AC voltage source with neutral conductor Output voltage: 0–300 VAC Frequency range: 10 Hz to 320 Hz Continuous power: 10 kVA to 100 kVA (model dependent) Inrush power: double the rated power for 3 seconds Accuracy: < 0.5% f.s.
Stability: <0.1% f.s.
Twilight Distortion (THD): <2%
RS232 interface and optional extensions
Supported protocols: Elettrotest, SCPI, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP
Comprehensive protection functions (short circuit, overload, over/undervoltage, overtemperature)
