Description

410-436 | Analog Discovery Pro 2450 Mixed Signal USB Oscilloscope, 4+16 Channel, 200 MHz, 8 bit, 1 GSa/s

The Digilent Analog Discovery Pro 2400 series – a National Instruments (NI) brand – comprises high-performance USB-based mixed-signal oscilloscopes specifically designed for demanding measurement tasks in development, analysis, and test. These instruments combine high-resolution analog measurement channels with extensive digital I/O capabilities and a flexible memory architecture. With freely assignable deep buffer memory, high-speed USB 3.2 connectivity, and comprehensive integration with Digilent WaveForms software, the Analog Discovery Pro 2400 series offers a balanced platform for precise signal acquisition, analysis, and generation. The robust metal housing with DIN rail support and the powerful software environment enable a professional measurement setup with high flexibility.

Typical applications for the Digilent Analog Discovery Pro 2400 series include the development and analysis of electronic circuits, embedded system design, and versatile test and measurement environments. The combination of analog and digital channels makes this series particularly suitable for mixed-signal analysis, protocol analysis, and signal investigations in communication and control systems. Functions such as FFT analysis, Bode plot analysis, impedance measurement, bus analysis, and data logging enable comprehensive investigations in both the time and frequency domains. The ADP2450 model within the Digilent Analog Discovery Pro 2400 series is designed for applications with particularly high bandwidth and sampling rate requirements. Compared to the ADP2440 model, which offers 12-bit resolution and a bandwidth of over 100 MHz, the ADP2450 boasts a higher signal bandwidth of over 200 MHz at a sampling rate of up to 1 GS/s in interleave mode. The ADP2450 achieves this with an 8-bit resolution. Both devices feature four analog inputs and 16 digital I/O lines and integrate fully into the Digilent WaveForms software. This makes the ADP2450 a performance-oriented variant of the series, particularly suitable for high-frequency signal analysis and fast signal waveforms. Product features of the series: Digilent Analog Discovery Pro 2400 Series USB-based mixed-signal oscilloscopes Four analog BNC inputs with up to ±25 V input range ADP2440: 12-bit resolution, over 100 MHz bandwidth, up to 600 MS/s (interleaved) ADP2450: 8-bit resolution, over 200 MHz bandwidth, up to 1 GS/s (interleaved) 16 digital inputs and outputs with up to 1.2 GS/s internal sampling rate Assignable deep buffer memory for analog and digital signals; Memory segmentation with approximately 1 µs latency between fast measurements; Integrated arbitrary waveform generator with 14-bit resolution and ±5 V output range; Function generator with over 15 MHz bandwidth and up to 125 MS/s; Support for numerous standard, extended, and user-defined waveforms; USB 3.2 interface with up to 5 Gbit/s data transfer rate; Extensive analysis functions such as FFT, histogram, eye diagram, and persistence; Integrated analysis tools such as spectrum analyzer, Bode plot analyzer, and impedance analyzer; Support for numerous communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, JTAG, LIN and more
