Technical Data

Description

DE8203 | Box Type Bus Coupler, 3 Stub, MIL-STD-1553

The DEICO MIL-STD-1553 Box Type Bus Coupler series offers a robust and economical solution for building reliable data bus structures. Through transformer coupling, defined impedance, and high isolation, these bus couplers enable stable signal transmission in MIL-STD-1553 networks.

Typical applications for the DEICO MIL-STD-1553 bus couplers include avionics, military communication systems, and test and development environments with structured bus architectures.

The model DE8203 is a bus coupler with 3 stubs and no termination. Compared to 1- and 2-stud versions, this model allows for the connection of additional devices. Unlike the DE8213, DE8223, and DE8233 variants, the DE8203 does not have integrated termination and is suitable for external termination solutions. Product features of the series: Transformer ratio: 1:1.41 Stub resistance: 59 ohms ±1% (1W) Characteristic impedance: 78 ohms Common mode rejection: -45 dB max @ 1 MHz Droop: max. 20% (250 kHz) Stub voltage: 1.0 V to 14.0 V p-p Bus input impedance: min. 3000 ohms Ohm
