The Cinergia GE+ vAC ePlus series is a modern, regenerative AC voltage source that can generate both stable and selectively distorted grids. Thanks to its bidirectional topology, it works energy-efficiently by feeding the energy recovered during testing back into the grid. The devices are ideal for renewable energy, smart grids, electromobility and grid testing in accordance with IEC standards. Each phase can be parameterized independently in terms of voltage, phase angle, frequency and harmonics.
The GE+ 7.5 vAC is the entry-level model in the GE+ series and offers an output of 7.5 kW with a rated current of 11 A (3-phase mode) or 33 A (1-phase mode). Compared to the larger models up to 200 kW, it is characterized by particularly compact dimensions (770 × 450 × 1100 mm) and a low weight of only 155 kg. Despite its compact design, it offers the same performance features and full software and interface functionality as the more powerful devices. It is ideal for applications with lower power requirements, such as research laboratories, test bays or test facilities for smaller power supply units. The excellent voltage stability (THDv < 0.1 %), short response times (< 1.5 ms) and bidirectional operation make the GE+ 7.5 vAC a versatile and sustainable solution in the field of network simulation.
