The 61500 series AC power sources have a (master-slave) parallel operation function, which allows users to expand the power output of the AC power source by connecting AC sources in parallel. The maximum permissible number of AC power sources that can be used for parallel operation is 5 device units.
Therefore, users are able to achieve an output power of up to 90 kVA by combining 5 device units with grouped 18 kVA AC sources in (master-slave) parallel mode. Users can also use the optional A615103 power level as an alternative low-cost solution for parallel operation by using it as a slave device unit.
