The Chroma 19036 is the first device in the industry that combines the functions of the pulse tester and HiPot analyzer to test the impulse of wound components. The tester has a 5 kVac / 6 kVdc high voltage output and a 6 kV surge voltage, which, by providing an output with a maximum of 10 channels for multi-channel scan tests, conforms to the test requirements for wound components to save time and labor costs.

The quality verification of wound components includes tests of the AC / DC HiPot, the insulation resistance and the pulse winding. Chroma integrated the above tests into the 19036 EST wound component analyzer, which performs safety testing on wound products such as: B. motors, transformers and heaters can perform to efficiently verify their quality.

Because poor coil insulation often results in layer, cross-connection, and pin shorting, a layer short circuit circuit test for coils is required because the causes could be an initial design flaw, a poor manufacturing process, or faulty insulation material. In addition, the wound components for the safety tester must be checked with the pulse winding tester (IWT) to test the insulation performance of the windings. Multiple test points can be measured in one test run instead of switching test points manually.

In combination with the pulse winding test function, the 19036 has a rating for 6 kV surge voltage, COMPARISON OF AREA SIZE, COMPARISON OF DIFFERENTIAL AREA, FLUTTER DETECTION and LAPLACE DETECTION, all effective methods for detecting bad coil insulation.

The 19036 is equipped with a patented 4-wire test port, the drive and sensor of which comply with HiPot specifications for the provision of 10 channels with 4-wire test functions. A scan check up to 40CH can be performed if the 19036 has been configured with a 16CH scan box.

The 19036 also has HSCC functions to search for bad contacts before testing. It can fix problems from failed tests that result from faulty contacts on the motor or transformer, it improves test quality and extends the life of the test equipment.

The standard for engine testing, e.g. B. UL 1004-1, requires a high performance safety tester. For users who need to test a large leakage current or perform electrical safety tests on large systems, the Chroma 19036 is able to output and measure 100 mA AC / 20 mA DC with high performance HiPot tests and other safety tests that are in one of the most suitable devices are integrated in order to offer maximum advantages to production plants and quality assurance. The 500 VA design is also IEC / UL compliant in terms of performance requirements.
